While waiting for the April shipment from Blue Moon and waiting to hear all about Sock Camp from The Yarn Harlot and various others, I have started a new project. I have some awesome yarn that I picked up at The Knitting Sisters - it's Claudia Hand Painted yarn and the colorway is Knitting Sisters! And can I just tell you, it's beautiful. But, I have had it in my stash for a couple months and wanted to find something to do the yarn justice.
Then...I found the wonderful Cookie A pattern Monkey on Knitty and when I saw it, I knew I had to make these socks. These are not very good pictures, but so far, totally loving and digging the pattern and yarn.
Now, when will these people be back from sock camp so they can send out the April Sock Club packages?!?!?! (Did I mention that I am very jealous of everyone there? Aside from the cool chicks at Blue Moon you also have The Yarn Harlot, Cat & Cookie A...what more could you ask for???)

I think that's the third pair of Monkey socks I've seen knit with Claudia's yarn, and it's just lovely! She doesn't disappoint, does she? I love that colorway.
Are you using the sport weight version of the Knitting Sisters yarn or the fingering? I have a skein of the sport that I'm dying to knit up.
